“ Friday night...want dinner...don't want to cook, don't want to go far, don't want to deal with crowds. Poppy's it is! Cheesesteak roll was nice. The meat was definitely not ribeye...kinda spoiled in that aspect. The roll made up for it. Staff is always super friendly and we like their pizza. ”
“ The food was okay, but the customer service was extraordinary, which is always pleasant and makes you want to come back. Hospitality is important! ”
“ Ordered for delivery directly from their website. Great food, very quick delivery, and only a $2.00 delivery fee! I will order again. ”
“ I haven't been to Poppy's in over five years, but I recently stopped in on a few Friday nights to try out their pizza. They have a decent amount of parking on the side. The inside has quite a few tables and booths. They didn't have many diners on either visit and the side room was empty (I'm assuming they use that for private bookings?). It's a tad dated on the inside, but I've seen much worse! There was also a TV inside the dining area with that evenings Phillies game on. Their menu is huge - pasta, seafood, chicken, veal sections .... lots of restaurant items besides the usual pizza shop items. I remember having the Veal Saltimbocca - With mushrooms & prosciutto in a white wine sauce topped with mozzarella cheese many years ago and it was ok. The pizza was pretty good. Asked for well done - sweet sauce, nice ratio of cheese to sauce, the undercarriage stood somewhat firm, crust is on the thinner side and a tad crispy/cracker like. The Pep pizza should have had more Pepperoni, but was solid. Their pizza is not bad at all if you like a sauce on the sweeter side. The mozzarella sticks were tasty and not overly stringy with cheese and the cheese fries were crispy and ok with me. Don't sleep on their Cannoli's, they have regular shells and ones with chocolate on them. They are made to order and I enjoyed them. I think Poppy's is a good place to stop and grab a bite. It won't wow you, but the service was good and everyone was friendly. ”
“ It was absolutely delicious! When we went in there was zero customers so i was a bit worried but it was the best italian place i've ever been to. Absolutely delicious and great service, definitely recommend! ”
“ One of my favorite pizzas in the Bucks Co area. Love the Trenton style Brooklyn square. I add sausage and sometimes pepperoni and mushrooms. The chef always knows it's me when I pick it up. Super friendly staff. Entrees area great too. Try this place! ”
“ I have driven past Poppy's numerous times, especially when a long freight train is tying up traffic. Craving Italian food for dinner, my wife and I decided to give it a try and we were both blown away. Her Chicken Cacciatore and my Chicken Parmesan were fantastic and plentiful. Served with salad and fresh garlic bread (with real garlic), we both said this won't be our only time ordering from here. Poppy's is a hidden gem, well worth making the right turn away from Woodbourne Station. We can't wait to try more of the menu. ”
“ Nice little pizza joint tucked way back behind gated communities in Langhorne on Wood Lane. Had I not gotten a Dining Advantage coupon I never would have known it was there. Wafting aromas of garlic, herbs and fresh dough welcome you as soon as you enter. The spacious dining area with plenty of seating for couples, families or groups invites you to come and relax. The menu has a lot to offer including lunch specials in addition to entrees if your looking for more of a meal. Our coupon was for lunch/dinner entree and pizza looked too good to pass - so our coupon will wait. Pizza was on par for the area. Tasty and satisfying. The waitress was friendly and helpful. A nice little find, that we will revisit for dinner to use that coupon. ”
